I’ve designed and made my own e3d v6 sleeves/socks. I am pretty new to Fusion 360 and silicone casting. I have less than 10 hours of experience with Fusion 360 and basically first time casting silicone. This is both a challenge to learn and make something useful out of 3d printing. please note that this is intended for the older e3d v6/v6 clone heater block.

I bought 1KG worth of this high temp silicone for about 7 USD… each sleeve has about 4ml of volume. this is literally cost me close to nothing except for the time I spent modelling and iterate the designs (twice). The first version I made is about 30hours usage now, it is still fine with zero sign of degradation. Even if I have to change it once every hundred hours, it is still worth it for me :P. Also, I am pretty happy that I acquired a new skill by doing this.

Thx,
already realized that I have something else to use in my cave. My usecase is totalty different and I’ll try if I could use vinamold with printed mold as vinamold which reuasble/remeltable
