I’m rebuilding my big delta printer and have ordered pretty much everything needed from Duet3D.
Duet wifi + smart delta effector etc …
Since before I have a pretty much complete printer (but electronics were shot). E3d titan extruder and E3d v6 hotend. I intend to build a speed monster (well, compared to a normal printer). Print quality is not the top priority but I am printing decorative pieces, not functional so it should be ok. I want to print with a 0.5mm (or possibly 0.6mm) nozzle on a E3d volcano block. Layer height 0.2mm.
A standard E3d hotend is not fast enough for me, I think. With my other printers I am on the edge of speed considering the amount of plastic that goes through the hotend (also E3d v6).
What do you think? Am I on the right track if I go for a volcano?
(Tom, if you are reading this, thanks for answering my question on 3D meetup Sweden, nice to meet you.)
