Problem: BQ Arduino Zum Mega 3D with "standard" Heatbed

#1

Hello fellow Printheads,
I’ve purchased a BQ Hephestos (Version 1), that comes not with a Ramps 1.4 like the old one did, but instead with the BQ designed Zum Mega 3D Board. After months of printing with PLA, I’ve thought about adding a Heated Bed, so I could start printing ABS and other more temperature sensitive materials. BQ sells its own Heated Bed for about 180 Euros, which is quite expensive for my taste, so I went on Aliexpress, bought a Heated Bed, that is bundled with Arduino Mega and a Ramps 1.4 Board and hooked everything together once it arrived.
My Problem is, that the BQ Zum Mega 3D does not use the same connections as a Ramps board for a Heated Bed. Since my skill and knowledge of these electronics is quite (basically nonexistent) limited, I wanted to know if it is possible to run a non BQ Heated Bed (basically the one I already bought) on the BQ Board and if so, what are the necessary steps to take? Otherwise, I would just completely abandon the BQ board and replace it with the Arduino/Ramps1.4 combo.

Many thanks in advance, I’ll post links to the different parts below.
