UTP Wiring Cable

Hi there.
I saw tom’s videos talking about UTP wiring… But, i cant find more information about that…
Could you please help me with more information about that please.

Thanks !!

The basic difference between UTP and STP is UTP (Unshielded twisted pair) is a cable with wires that are twisted together to reduce noise and crosstalk. On the contrary, STP (Shielded twisted pair) is a twisted pair cable confined in foil or mesh shield that guards the cable against electromagnetic interference.

Hi Dik ! thanks for answer !!
but wich of both cables could it be used to 3d printing wiring ? UTP or STP ?

Thanks again.

Can’t put any numbers to it, but UTP should be just fine. STP is probably overkill.
